On 8 January 2004 the Archbishop of Monreale, His Excellency Mgr Cataldo Naro, raised Rectory the church attached to the Oasi Cana Centre for the Family and for Life, under the title of Holy Family of Nazareth. Furthermore, on 31 January 2004, Fr. Antonio Santoro was appointed Rector of the church.
