the new “Emmaus” itinerary for couples begins

programmes for couplesEmmaus
An itinerary for couples. It is a series of meetings offered to all couples who wish to experience intense moments of formation during the year.
The name is inspired by the two disciples who, filled with enthusiasm after meeting Jesus, had followed him, but who, after the crucifixion, decide to go back to Emmaus… and, along this road back to their daily lives, they “walked along looking sad”, saying to one another: “we had hoped”.
In the same way we hear of so many families who, after the enthusiasm of falling in love and the great wedding celebration, are caught up by life and “walk sadly” back into their daily routine, at times doubting the promise of happiness written into their marriage. It is the presence of Jesus that explains “the meaning” and makes “their hearts burn within them” once more, bringing us back “to Jerusalem”, to the original plan. This is the experience we hope to share with other couples.
The meetings are open to everyone and attendance is free, with no obligation to follow the whole itinerary.
