A path of preparation for the sacrament of marriage designed to build solid foundations: not a course to attend, but a time to know each other more deeply and to make clear what really matters.
What we talk about
- Communication within the couple: speaking up and knowing how to listen
- The plan for a life together: hopes, dreams, fears
- The affective dimension and sexuality as the language of love
- The sacrament of marriage and married spirituality
- Handling conflict and the relationship with families of origin
How it works
The meetings take place in small groups, led by married couples and a priest, with the contribution of the Counselling Centre's professionals. They alternate moments of listening, dialogue as a couple and sharing with the other couples.

“Verso Cana”: how it works
It is a specific residential itinerary for engaged couples.
We meet one Sunday a month, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., sharing lunch together (plus other short meetings in between), from October to June; the journey ends with a weekend.
Goal: to live well the time of grace of engagement and to prepare for the sacrament of marriage by deepening the reality of the couple from both a human and a Christian point of view. The method used is that of group animation.
Participants: no more than 12–15 couples.
The itinerary continues each year through the “contagion” of those who have already lived the experience.
