“La Città Incantata” is the name of the games room that the young people of the Youth Group decided to create as a recreational place where you can enjoy yourself in a genuine way, simply by challenging each other to a board game and spending time together.
The aim of this project, carried forward with such determination, is to show that there is a different and above all healthy way healthy of having fun. It all began with the idea of creating a place suited to making new friends and strengthening old ones.
The games room, open since 16 December 2011 (the date of its inauguration), aims to welcome all young people aged 14 and over, offering a wide range of games (board and console) to choose from and, not least, a small bar area selling food and drinks.
Although the project is non-profit, to cover the running costs of the games room, which is entirely self-managed, a minimum contribution of €3 on entry has been set, which also helps to improve the services offered.
The young people have also considered starting other educational projects such as a film club, literary circles and so on.
The games room will be open on Fridays (5.00 pm–midnight) and Saturdays (4.00 pm–1.00 am). Any changes will be announced in good time.
La Città Incantata is still waiting for its inhabitants! What are you waiting for?
