The Consultorio Familiare “Cana” is one of the permanent structures serving the person, the couple and the family, created and run by the Associazione OASI CANA Onlus. The Oasi Cana Association belongs to the “Oblate” family linked to the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate (O.M.I.)
The Consultorio Familiare “Cana” is a family counselling centre of Christian inspiration; it belongs to the Diocese of Monreale and works with the family ministry services, and it is federated with the Regional Federation and the Italian Confederation of Family Counselling Centres of Christian Inspiration.
Therefore, what motivates and guides the commitment of our staff and grounds our method of intervention is the vision of the integral good of the human person, of the great values of the Family, of Life and of Sexuality, illuminated by the wisdom of the Gospel, by the deeper reflection carried out by the Magisterium of the Church and by the wisdom of research in the field of the human sciences.
The “Cana” counselling centre is located in the City of Palermo and its catchment area covers a vast territory (the province of Palermo and beyond); it also has a section at the “Solidali con te” rehabilitation centre of the “Oasi Cana” Association in Sambuca di Sicilia – AG.
Although it provides a service of public utility, the counselling centre receives no funding. Therefore, in order to cover its running and training costs, the contribution of benefactors and, within the limits of their means, of the users themselves is necessary.
All our staff provide their service free of charge, on a voluntary basis. The professionals are duly registered with their respective professional bodies in accordance with the regulations in force.

Monday, Wednesday and Thursday: 3.30 p.m. – 7.00 p.m.
